This is to all those lucky girls who have found the man of their dreams and are about to be married. If the decision on your dress is becoming a tad tedious and over-bearing for everyone around you, then I have an idea.
If you're bored with the traditional flowing gown that every woman from Booval to Bulimba has walked down the aisle in, then maybe you should consider something from AKIRA ISOGAWA.
Born in Kyoto and raised in Australia, Akira's early work was a fusion of Japanese craftmanship/traditions, with Western sensibilities structured in. He often re-uses Kimono fabric, to make his pieces more exclusive and rare.
With skilled textile contacts in Bali, China, Vietnam and India, Akira delivers beautiful, often costume-like clothes to the wardrobes of the fashion elite.
His Autumn/Winter 2008 Collection presented in Paris on February 28th delivered a succession of tailored pieces that wore the Isogawa signature to perfection.
Included, was the above selection that would be perfect for the not-so-traditional Bride.

Akira designs beautiful clothes and having these as wedding dresses is perfect. You could alter them and wear them again and again. Good choices. He is a genius.
they are very pretty, and different from the usual pavlova that most brides opt for. not many brides put too much effort into their dress. wedding dresses should have some history and class about them. Cheryl.
I adore the short dress with the little cardigan. so sweet.
