KOVA and MAGNOLIA are two homeware stores that sit next to each other in the James Street precinct, yet stand alone.
Both stores are two of the original and the best when it comes to furnishing your home, and if you can't find that desired object at one, you may find it at the other. Both very different, KOVA supplies Contemporary style while MAGNOLIA delivers an Antique/Feminine edge.
The owners of both stores having incredible buying power and initiate trends rather then copy them. They frequent International and Local Design Fairs, sorting out the good from the divine and have a very quick product turnover, translated..........both stores are very, very popular!
Along with an eclectic array of home accessories, both stores sell unique, hard-to-get furniture, and with some of the best retail staff around, if you do leave empty handed, you'll definetly return. KOVA stocks clothing to die for, while MAGNOLIA stocks china to eat off.
If you have'nt had the chance to visit either shop, hop to it, you never know, that one object you've been searching for, could just be in one of these stores.
And remember, despite the obvious rip-offs out there, there is only one KOVA and MAGNOLIA.

Kova's gone a bit shabby chic, the store never looks tidy. Magnolia is always neat! But I like them both. Des.

they are both fantastic store, but deserve to be somewhere more prominant, rather then housed in ugly demountables!!! Cheryl.
