There is a new cafe to hit the Brisbane culinary scene, and the line out the door signifies that it's not-to-be-missed.
PEARL CAFE in the Gabba is situated on Logan Road. Nestled amongst Antique Showrooms, and housed in one of the oldest buildings in Brisbane, owner Dan Lewis, has finally given us 'foodies' a reason to evict ourselves from the chaos of West End and The Valley, and by my experience, it's well worth the trek.
It reminds me a little of 'The Gunshop Cafe' in it's heyday, but also brings back memories of the cafes lining the streets in Notting Hill in London near the Portobello Markets.
PEARL CAFE is a very welcome pitstop, and with great food and fast friendly service, it's success is cemented for a long time.
